FAQ

Quick answers to your most common questions.

🚀 Getting Started (9)
How do I connect my first data source?
Navigate to the Data Sources page from the sidebar. Click 'Add Data Source' and select your platform (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.). Follow the authentication flow to connect your account. Once connected, you'll see the integration status and can start tracking your data.
How do I create a new project?
Go to the Projects page and click 'Create New Project'. Enter your project name, website URL, and upload a logo if desired. Projects help you organize your websites and related data in one place. You can add multiple projects and switch between them using the project selector.
Can I have multiple projects?
Yes, you can create and manage multiple projects. Each project can represent a different website or client. Use the project selector in the top navigation to switch between projects. All your data sources, widgets, and dashboards are organized per project.
How do I delete a project?
Go to the Projects page, find the project you want to delete, and click on the settings icon. Select 'Delete Project' from the dropdown menu. Note that this action cannot be undone and will remove all associated data, widgets, and configurations.
Who can sign up for Predicta Analytics?
Any individual business owner or Shopify store owner looking for digital marketing or e-commerce reporting can sign up as an individual user. Digital marketing agencies can sign up and onboard each of their clients as a separate Project within their account, building SEO, social media, and paid ads reporting for every client.
How do I register?
Registration is a short, self-serve process. Follow the on-screen steps and refer to our registration video guide if you get stuck.
What email address do I need to use?
You must register with a business/company email domain. Public, free email providers (for example Gmail, Outlook.com, or Yahoo Mail) cannot be used to create a Predicta Analytics account.
Can I create more than one account with the same email address?
No. Each email address can only be associated with a single Predicta Analytics account.
Do I need a credit card to start a free trial?
No. New customers get a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, you'll be asked to choose a paid plan and enter payment details before you're charged — we will never charge you without your consent. See our Pricing Policy, Section 2.
Which platforms can I connect?
You can connect Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, and more. Each platform requires authentication through their respective APIs. Once connected, you can view integration status, track connected client accounts, and manage all your marketing platforms from one place.
How do I disconnect a data source?
Go to the Data Sources page, find the integration you want to disconnect, and click on the settings icon next to it. Select 'Disconnect' from the menu. This will stop data syncing from that platform, but your historical data will remain accessible.
Which integrations can I connect?
The integrations available to you depend on your subscription. For example, a Digital Marketing subscription lets you connect digital marketing platforms such as GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads, while an e-commerce subscription lets you connect Shopify. All integrations included on your plan carry no additional per-source fee — see our Pricing Policy, Section 1.
How do I connect an integration?
Follow the step-by-step connection guide and video walkthrough available in the app for each integration.
Can I connect more than one account of the same platform to a single Project?
No. Each Project can have only one connected account per integration type — for example, one Google Ads account, one Facebook Page, or one LinkedIn Company Page. If you run multiple campaigns across separate accounts on the same platform, we recommend consolidating them under a single account for that Project or brand before connecting.
Can I connect the same third-party account to two different Predicta Analytics user profiles?
No. Once a third-party account (for example, a Facebook Page or LinkedIn Company Page) is connected under one Predicta Analytics profile, it cannot also be connected under another profile. This protects data integrity and ensures a single source of truth for your reporting.
Can I connect a different set of platform accounts for each Project?
Yes. There is no restriction on the number of Projects you create, and each Project can independently connect its own single account per integration type.
What happens to the data accessed through my integrations?
We only access the data made available under the permission scopes you approve, and we use it solely to power the dashboards and reports available to you and your Team Members. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy (Section 1.4) and Terms & Conditions (Section 5).
What's out of scope for Predicta Analytics today?
Predicta Analytics currently focuses on Digital Marketing reporting (SEO, SMM, PPC) and e-commerce reporting via Shopify. We do not yet support CRM reporting, email marketing analytics, broader accounting/ERP integrations, or e-commerce platforms other than Shopify. Many of these are already on our roadmap — see the Integrations section.
How big is the integration roadmap?
We're building toward roughly 96 integrations across eight categories: SEO & Web Analytics, Social Media (Organic), Paid Advertising (PPC), eCommerce, Accounting & Finance, CRM, Email Marketing & Automation, and Business Intelligence & BI Tools. Each integration is prioritized as High, Medium, or Low based on customer demand and market coverage.
What's already live today?
Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Lighthouse, Keyword Tracking, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Shopify.
What's rolling out right now?
Recently added: Google My Business, HubSpot, and HubSpot Marketing Hub. Currently rolling out this cycle: eCommerce (WooCommerce, Amazon Store), Accounting & Payments (Stripe, PayPal, Xero, and QuickBooks), CRM (Pipedrive, Salesforce), Email Marketing (Mailchimp, Klaviyo), a Google Sheets/Excel manual data upload bridge, and SEO/PPC expansions (Bing Webmaster Tools, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, YouTube, TikTok, X/Twitter, Amazon Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and TikTok Ads).
What's coming later this year and beyond?
Our next wave (targeted for later in 2026) adds further eCommerce platforms (Magento, BigCommerce, eBay, Etsy, Squarespace, WIX), Accounting platforms (Sage, Wave, FreeAgent, Square), CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Marketo, Monday.com, Copper), Email Marketing tools (ActiveCampaign, Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact), Google Looker Studio, and additional social/paid-social platforms (Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, Quora and their ad platforms) and SEO tools (Surfer SEO, Ubersuggest, SpyFu). Our longer-term roadmap (into 2027) adds enterprise and niche platforms such as NetSuite, SAP Commerce Cloud, Oracle Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, MYOB, and additional support-desk and email/SMS platforms.
Can I request an integration that isn't on the list?
Yes — submit your request through support or your account manager. We prioritize new integrations based on customer demand alongside our published roadmap.
How do I find out when a new integration goes live?
Subscribe to our early-bird notifications to be told as soon as a new interface becomes available, and check the Predicta Analytics roadmap page for the latest status of every integration.
How do I add widgets to my dashboard?
Navigate to the Widgets page and click 'Add Widget'. Choose from available widgets for different platforms, select the metrics you want to track, and configure the visualization type. You can then arrange and resize widgets on your dashboard to create a customized view.
Can I customize widget appearance?
Yes, each widget can be customized with different visualization types (charts, tables, metrics), date ranges, and styling options. Click on a widget to access its settings and configure it according to your preferences.
What standard dashboards are available?
Can I build my own dashboards?
Yes. Every plan includes a self-serve widget builder: drag and drop from the available KPI library to design your own dashboard layout. Custom dashboards can be saved, edited, and revisited at any time. See our widget usage video guide for a full walkthrough.
Who designs the standard dashboards and templates?
Our standard dashboards are designed with input from industry subject-matter experts and are organised by functional area (SEO, SMM, PPC, and so on), with a summary view highlighting the key KPIs for each area. Refer to our video guide for specific navigation scenarios.
Can I customize the appearance of my dashboards?
Yes, you can change the colour theme of both standard and custom dashboards.
Can other Team Members create their own dashboards or reports?
By default, the Primary Admin can create and edit reports. Other Team Members can also create dashboards and reports once the Primary Admin has approved that level of access.
How do I know how a KPI is calculated, or which source it comes from?
Refer to our KPI Glossary, available in the in-app Help section. It explains how each KPI is calculated and identifies which source application it is drawn from.
How do I compare data periods on my dashboard?
Use the comparison option on your dashboard to view a metric side-by-side against a previous period (e.g. last month, last year). This helps you quickly spot trends and measure performance changes over time.
How do I change the date range on my dashboard?
Click the date range selector at the top of your dashboard and choose a preset range (e.g. last 7 days, last 30 days) or set a custom start and end date. All widgets on the dashboard update automatically to reflect the selected range.
How do I invite team members?
Go to the Users page and click 'Invite User'. Enter their email address and assign a role (Admin, Editor, or Viewer). They will receive an invitation email to join your workspace. You can manage permissions and access levels for each team member.
What are the different user roles?
Admin: Full access to manage users, settings, and all data. Editor: Can view and edit dashboards, widgets, and data sources. Viewer: Read-only access to view dashboards and reports. You can customize permissions for each role as needed.
How do I update my profile information?
Go to Settings > Profile to update your personal information, including name, email, and profile picture. Changes are saved automatically. Your profile information is used across the platform and in team member listings.
How do I change my company details?
Navigate to Settings > Company Details to update your company name, address, and other business information. This information is used in reports and can be shared with team members.
Where can I manage my billing information?
Go to Settings > Billing to view your current plan, payment method, billing history, and invoices. You can update your payment method, download invoices, and manage your subscription from this page.
What is a "Primary Admin"?
The person who creates the account automatically becomes the Primary Administrator. The Primary Admin can invite Team Members, grant or withdraw their access, and manage subscription and billing details.
What level of access can the Primary Admin grant to other users?
Access can be granted by functional area, module, or even individual feature — for example, Digital Marketing, Social Media, or Custom Dashboard creation. Refer to our video guide for a walkthrough of available access levels.
Can invited Team Members add, remove, or manage other users?
No. Only the Primary Admin can invite, remove, or change the access level of Team Members.
How does user and project access work for agencies?
Agency accounts can onboard multiple Projects, typically one per client. The Primary Admin can assign each Team Member to a single Project or across multiple Projects, depending on their role.
Who can connect or change a data source connection?
Only the Primary Admin can create a new interface connection or request a change to an existing one. Invited Team Members do not have this privilege, which protects the integrity of your connected data sources.
What can the Primary Admin see compared to an invited Team Member?
The Primary Admin can see the full account profile, including subscription details and a list of all invited users. Invited Team Members can see their own profile details and the dashboards or reports they have been granted access to.
How do I reset my forgotten password?
On the login page, click 'Forgot Password' and enter the email address associated with your account. You'll receive a reset link by email — follow it to set a new password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
How do I upgrade my subscription?
Visit the Subscription Plans page to compare available plans. Click 'Upgrade' on the plan you want and choose between monthly or yearly billing. Your subscription will be updated immediately, and you'll have access to the new features right away.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes, you can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time from the Subscription Plans page. Yearly billing offers a discount compared to monthly billing. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
What subscription plans are available?
Predicta Analytics offers four tiers: Starter, Growth, Agency, and Enterprise (custom pricing). Each plan includes a defined number of Projects and Team Members and a set of features — see our Pricing page for full details.
Are integrations charged separately from my plan?
No. All integrations (GA4, Google Search Console, Google Lighthouse, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Keyword Tracking, and Shopify) are included on every paid plan, with no per-source or per-integration fee.
How does billing work — monthly or annual?
You can choose monthly or annual billing. Annual billing is discounted by approximately 17% compared to monthly (equivalent to two months free). Billing is in advance for the upcoming period and renews automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
What happens if I upgrade my plan?
Upgrades take effect immediately, and you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle reflecting the difference between your old and new plan.
What happens if I downgrade my plan?
Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You keep your current plan's features until then, and no prorated refund is issued for the remainder of the current cycle. If a downgrade would put you over the new plan's usage limits, you may be asked to reduce usage first.
What add-ons are available?
Extra Projects ($10 per project/month, any plan), White Label ($49/month, Starter or Growth), and Extra Users ($8 per user/month, Starter). Add-ons are billed on the same cycle as your base subscription and, if added mid-cycle, are prorated in the same way as plan upgrades.
How does Enterprise pricing work?
Enterprise plans are individually quoted based on your requirements and may include custom service levels, dedicated support, and invoiced billing. Enterprise terms are governed by a separate signed agreement or quote, which takes precedence over our Pricing Policy where terms conflict.
What is the Founding Member offer?
During our limited launch window, the first 300 subscribers receive a 30% discount on their subscription for the first six months and a lifetime price lock on that plan tier's rate. The offer may end before 300 subscribers is reached, at our discretion, and the price lock does not apply to add-ons or to a different plan tier if you later switch.
Will my subscription price ever increase?
We may change plan pricing from time to time. If we increase pricing on your plan, we'll provide at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect for existing subscribers, and the new pricing will apply at your next renewal after that notice period. Founding Members are exempt from plan-rate increases for as long as they remain on the same plan tier.
What currency am I billed in, and are taxes included?
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified at checkout, and are exclusive of applicable taxes such as GST — these are added to your invoice based on your billing location. Customers billed in other currencies may see amounts converted at the prevailing exchange rate by our payment processor.
Where can I see my current subscription and billing details?
Your ongoing subscription details and package information are available in the Primary Admin's account profile.
Can I get a refund?
We do not generally offer refunds for subscription fees already paid, since our 14-day free trial lets you evaluate the Service before committing to a paid plan. If you experience a technical issue we're unable to resolve, contact our support team and we will review your case on a discretionary, case-by-case basis. See our Pricing Policy, Section 8, and Terms & Conditions, Section 2.
If I cancel, do I get a refund for the current billing period?
No. Cancelling your subscription stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period already paid (whether monthly or annual), except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.
What happens if my payment fails?
If automatic billing fails and retries are unsuccessful, we may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service. Overdue amounts not under good-faith dispute may accrue late charges of 1.5% per month (or the maximum rate permitted by law, if lower), and you agree to pay our reasonable collection costs, including legal fees, if we pursue unpaid amounts.
Can Predicta Analytics suspend or terminate my account?
Yes. We may suspend or terminate access immediately in cases of emergency, suspected fraud, a regulatory or law-enforcement requirement, or a material breach of our Terms. For other terminations, we provide at least five business days' written notice where practicable, and a reasonable opportunity to cure a breach where the breach can be fixed. See our Terms & Conditions, Section 12.
Do I still have consumer protection rights?
Yes. Nothing in our Pricing Policy or Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. See our Terms & Conditions, Section 16.
How often is my data refreshed?
We refresh data from each connected source once a day, generally after your local business hours. A small number of KPIs display live data directly from the source application — these are flagged in the KPI Glossary. The time of the most recent refresh is shown on your dashboard.
Can I get more frequent refreshes?
If you need a higher refresh frequency for a specific integration, please raise a service request with our support team and we will assess your case.
How long is my data retained while I'm a subscriber?
For active subscribers, integration data is retained for up to twelve (12) months on a rolling basis to support historical reporting and trend analysis. See our Privacy Policy, Section 3.
What happens to my data if I cancel or my account is terminated?
We retain your integration data for a further one (1) month after cancellation or termination, after which it is permanently deleted. We will provide a notification before final deletion. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered — you would need to reconnect your integrations and let the platform re-extract data from the original source application.
Can I retain my data for longer than 12 months?
Yes. If you need retention beyond the standard 12-month period, you can make a special request for extended retention. This is available at Predicta Analytics' discretion, subject to a separate agreement, and for a nominal additional cost. See our Privacy Policy, Section 3.3.
What happens to my data if I don't upgrade after my free trial?
Your account is paused and your data is retained for 30 days from the end of the trial, after which it may be deleted. See our Pricing Policy, Section 2.
How is my data protected?
We apply industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. See our Privacy Policy, Section 7.
Where is my data hosted?
The Service is hosted on cloud infrastructure, and your data may be stored or processed outside Australia and will not necessarily remain within Australian geographic boundaries. Where we operate in or serve users in Australia, we handle Personal Data in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, including the cross-border disclosure rules in APP 8. See our Privacy Policy, Section 6.
What am I agreeing to when I connect an integration?
By connecting an Integration, you confirm you have the necessary rights and authority — including on behalf of your organisation and any Team Members — to authorize Predicta Analytics to access that data, and you consent to us accessing, storing, processing, retaining, and disclosing it as described in our Privacy Policy. See our Privacy Policy, Section 8, and Terms & Conditions, Section 8.
Does Predicta Analytics sell my data?
No. We do not sell Personal Data or Integration Data to any third party, and we do not use Integration Data for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
Are there platform-specific rules for Google, Meta, or LinkedIn data?
Yes. Our use of Google, Meta, and LinkedIn data complies with each platform's respective API or developer terms (including Google's Limited Use requirements). See our Privacy Policy, Sections 4.1–4.3, for the full disclosures.
Where can I read the full Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions?
The complete Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions are available on our website and are incorporated by reference into your use of the Service.
Does Predicta Analytics use AI?
Yes. Predicta Analytics uses AI chat and AI-agent-driven features to help you build dashboards conversationally and to surface insights from your data.
Is AI-generated output always accurate?
No. AI outputs are generated by machine learning models and are probabilistic in nature. You should review AI-generated outputs before relying on them, and you are solely responsible for decisions made or actions taken based on that output. See our Terms & Conditions, Section 10.
What am I not allowed to do with the AI features?
You must not use our AI features to bypass safeguards, extract training data, circumvent privacy or security controls, or otherwise cause the AI to act outside its intended purpose.
